Ride fees for Texas Trail Challenges are $50.00 for Adult/Senior and $40.00 for Junior. You must be either a Daily, Limited or Full member of NCTHA. Learn more about membership.

Please use the online entry to register. No deposit is necessary on most rides, all money is due at check-in starting on Friday. Early entries are appreciated by ride management so arrangements can be made for lunch on ride day.

  • Check-in:

    a) Starts on Friday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 7 a.m. (for those that are not camping). Riders that are able to check-in on Friday are encouraged to do so, this will ensure the ride starts as scheduled Saturday morning. These times can be adjusted by each ride manager if needed.
    b) Each Rider will receive a number, ride management will have some way for you to display this number so hidden observations can be judged.
    c) Negative Coggins papers will be checked coming into camp or at check-in, Horses do not need to be present for check-in.

  • Camping fees and ranch fees are separate and will be designated on each ride page.
  • TTC's are limited to an amount designated by ride management, generally 65 riders. Two rides may be avialable if entries are high.
  • Each Rider/horse combination is considered a team and will receive awards at each ride. NCTHA Full and Limited Members are eligible for Year End Awards and bonus points for High Point and Reserve High Point at each ride. Points are kept in a database and are available online during the year.
