CAMPING:
Valley View campgrounds, a shady hill top campgrounds
with a nice breeze to keep you cool and a beautiful
view. Toilet and covered pavilion with picnic tables
for meals and meetings.
Primitive
only no hook ups. Wind mill and water tank for horse
water in camp. Plenty of shady sites, as well as
open areas for larger rigs. If the heat is extreme,
generators will be allowed to run all night.

rent. 5 min. trailer ride from Valley View. Direct
Trail access.
Grasslands

with bedrooms and a shared living room. Large horse
pens, some are covered. 10 min trailer ride to Valley
View.
MEALS:
Gourmet hotdog dinner with sides and dessert on
Friday for $7. A free sandwich buffet for Lunch
on Sat.
Directions
to Valley View:
From Hwy 287, exit FM 1655 North into the town of
Alvord. In .5 miles, turn L at the stop sign onto
Wickham St., In 1 miles go straight at the blinking
red light. Continue 8.1 miles on 1655 to Roberts
Road on your rt. Go 1.6 miles to turn L onto 2690.
At 1.6 miles, turn Rt onto 2675. Almost immediately
take a left at 2777 which will take you right into
the campgrounds.
From
Hwy 380, turn north on FM 730. Travel 9.3 miles.
Turn Left onto 2461. At the first "Y"
go Rt. on 2560. At the next "Y" turn Rt
to stay on 2560. Turn Rt on Parker Dairy Rd. and
then Rt on 2777 to go to the campgrounds.
