Take FM 933 thru Whitney. At the Lamplighter convenience
store (FM 1713) turn west (only way to turn). There
are also brown COE signs that say "McCown Park"
with an arrow there, too. Go about 4 miles to McCown
Valley Park. When FM 1713 veers off to the right,
keep going straight--do not follow FM 1713. The
road will take you straight into McCown Valley Park.
Pay the gate attendant for your site.
From
Hwy 56, take FM 1713 to the east, cross over the
long bridge and at the "T", turn right
and go into McCown Valley Park.
